Honeymoon Suite;

Welcome to the Honeymoon Suite. Not only is it a spacious suite with a massive, comfortable bed, rose petals scattered all over the place, and quite a view of the island?
Check out this sweet-ass tub. It even has jets!
All in all, it's the perfect place to CONSUMMATE YOUR LOVE.
The walk-in closet and nightstand contain everything one might possibly need to properly enjoy some alone time, unless you are Cyrus, there are no ancient texts or tomes to be found here. What the hell is wrong with you.
Congratulations, Perfect Match!

A history lesson in bed, huh...?
[THIS IS VERY CYRUS. She doesn't seem to mind though.]

[She's quiet for a moment, contemplating everything, before she just sighs.]
... It's just another surprising fact. Um, but not in a bad way. I don't want to interrupt you. You can keep going.

Before I became a scholar, I had the honor of studying under many a great thinker at the academy—so great, in fact, that I wondered if I could ever be their equal. And so, I dedicated myself to my studies, hoping to grow my mind . . . and eventually became their colleague, free to conduct research of my own and assist them in theirs.
[Those were fondly anxious years.]
My role as a teacher is comparatively new by some three years.

That's about how long I've been at my job... maybe a little longer. Being a professor suits you so naturally, I thought it'd be longer.
[... She peers at him a little more closely, head cocked in sincere curiosity.]
What do you study? Anything in particular, or just... everything?

Why, whatever piques my curiosity . . . though I teach history foremost. The last treatise I published was on the arcane arts, however, and I just recently finished translating an ancient tome that portended the rise of a forbidden evil.
