Honeymoon Suite;

Welcome to the Honeymoon Suite. Not only is it a spacious suite with a massive, comfortable bed, rose petals scattered all over the place, and quite a view of the island?
Check out this sweet-ass tub. It even has jets!
All in all, it's the perfect place to CONSUMMATE YOUR LOVE.
The walk-in closet and nightstand contain everything one might possibly need to properly enjoy some alone time, unless you are Cyrus, there are no ancient texts or tomes to be found here. What the hell is wrong with you.
Congratulations, Perfect Match!

My view of the world as I've lived has mainly consisted of the walls that border Atlasdam; however, I recently returned from a journey that took me across Orsterra. I was fortunate enough to behold similarly striking sights then.

[She's quiet as she contemplates that, watching the ocean.]
That's awfully brave of you. Maybe it's no surprise handling this place was like it was nothing for you.

[If there were less cooperative souls, he would've struggled the most back at the house. He counts himself blessed in more ways than one.]
Just as I was accompanied by the good friends I made on my quest. Without them, I surely would have perished back then.
[And he definitely would have died without Therese.]
However, I must admit that I'm curious as to what you meant when you said that the view is not for someone like you . . .
no subject
That's not a bad trait of yours.
[She just smiles a little, before she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. And, matter-of-factly:]
I just meant I'm a really ordinary person. This is a really luxurious and extravagant place and view, so without this opportunity, I probably never would've seen it.
no subject
[The price hadn't occurred to him until now. (And there's nothing wrong with being ordinary.) He doesn't know what the economy of Aoko's home is like, but he does know this:]
. . . If time permits, I would like to show you the views of Orsterra one day.
no subject
[... She threads her fingers together, considering that for a long moment--before she smiles.]
I think I'd really like that.
I've never been on a grand adventure before, though, so... I hope you can be patient with me.
no subject
Furthermore, I'll be sure to enlist the aid of hired help in the event I find my spells lacking for a given journey.
no subject
That's right, you can do things like that...
[...]
Will it be okay that I don't know how to do anything like that...?
no subject
[He turns to look her way.]
Would you be interested in learning?
no subject
C-can I...? Can I really?
no subject
no subject
... If you don't mind teaching me, then...
It's something you really love, right? So I'd like to learn more about it too.
no subject
Excellent!
Though I have a grimoire with me, its invocations are perhaps too advanced for a beginner. Once I return to Atlasdam, I'll procure the appropriate tomes for your learning . . . unless you would prefer to grasp the healing arts?
no subject
[...]
That sounds nice. I'd, um... I'd like to be able to pick up something useful.
[And she likes the idea of her usefulness being able to, well... help him any time anything goes wrong.]
no subject
In battle, yes. Aelfric's light mends wounds and smites foes while Dohter's teachings address various ailments. Though I don't claim to be an expert in either, I did dabble in both practices for a time. I'm at least well-versed enough in light magic to impart foundational knowledge of Aelfric's teachings to you, if you are interested.
no subject
[... She nods firmly.]
If, um... if I'm going to be going with you to your world to travel... I want to be able to be useful too...!
So please teach me.
no subject
It would be my pleasure.
Now then, shall we take a look at the rest of what this abode has to offer?
no subject
[Shit. She got distracted from her Goal.
But as soon as she steps back inside... her gaze is drawn back to that bed again.]
... I don't think this place is that big, but let's look at what else there is.
[Like the hot tub.]
no subject
no subject
Anyway.
Look at that tub!!]
Ooooh...! This is fancy.
[Aoko immediately meanders closer to fiddle with the settings.]
It has jets and everything... how nice!
no subject
Cyrus follows Aoko to the tub, where he peers over her shoulder to look at the settings.]
Is this a similar type of tub to the one in the house?
no subject
[Also... they don't have to share, which is extra nice.]
Maybe after... [pppppauses] dinner, we can see if it's as nice as it looks.
no subject
[After dinner, which begs the next question: what to do next?]
no subject
You know...
Until then, we could...
C-could...
no subject
Could . . . ?
[He is genuinely at a loss.]
